Already out of bed
What do you know, when I don't work so late I get into bed at a somewhat more reasonable hour, and then get up earlier to boot! I'm not sure when I saw 8 a.m. on the clock except for the Sabbath and a handful of other days where I had places to go and things to do that required me to be up that early. Now I just need to make use of this time--I'm thinking a walk while it's still relatively cool out would be a good starting place.
Had a pretty nice weekend. My second sermonette was a bit on the short side, but I wasn't nearly so nervous as the first time around. Saturday evening, Matt and Devon and I drove down to St. Augustine for pizza and board/card games with Ashley and Teri, then yesterday Matt and I got in some games of Risk--I think I won only once. Oh well, it was fun anyway.
A bit of my non-work time over the last couple of weeks has been spent on pre-Feast preparations, including clothes shopping which I really don't care for but has to be done at some point. My "Feast envelope" is also ready to go. And the Feast is just a little more than two weeks away; I hope it's a great one. I'm rather eager to head north, to spend a week learning about God's plan and spending time with family and friends and to a large extent being away from the bad news.
