A new week is starting
And it's no doubt going to be an incredibly busy one. It also holds a certain degree of promise...and it will be interesting to see how everything works out.
Last night was a lot of fun. The L's hosted a hot dog roast and hay ride, and the weather was just about perfect for it. Partly cloudy, a bit on the cool side but only enough so that you knew it was fall, not enough to be uncomfortable for the most part. I think it was my first time on a hay ride, also the first time in a long time that I'd gotten to chew on some sugar cane. All in all, a good time.
The messages at church yesterday were about voting and tithing, and why we do the latter but generally not the former. Both very interesting and practical reviews, in particular since I'd just read the United News article on voting the night before. Devon and I drove down to St. Augustine between services and the L's event. Teri didn't come out of her room the whole time we were down there, but it was a nice chance to catch up with the others.
